New season, new division, new programme!
Over the years the Alex have produced a variety of style, size and colour matchday programme, and this season has seen the introduction of a new look programme, it's smaller, better quality paper and bigger than previous years.
The new style programme features 46 pages of news, opinion, fans view, colour action photos, interviews, stats, and club info. The club have seeming made a big effort to improve the matchday programme and have included less adverts and more colour. The actual size of the programme is smaller, yet there are more pages inside. The previous seasons programme have been poor, with embarrasing mistakes, such as posters entitled with the wrong players name, not quite sure how Dave Walton resembles Shaun Smith, but it was a feature in a programme a couple of years back!
The new style and layout of the programme has attracted many more fans to purchase a programme, with me for one, again buying a programme after a few seasons where the low Alex content, high advert content was an abysmal at £2.
However, times have changed and we now have a mathcday programme to be proud of, complete with posters, interviews and 'website style' news.
In my opinion, well worth a read!
