Dario is reluctant to shove responsibility onto Billy Jones' shoulders again and with Moses and McCready out then options for full backs are thin.
Today Dario made an offer to loan a player and will try and get the deal done by the end of the day...
Dario told crewealex.net: “Losing a player like David is a blow for us because he has been one of our most consistent performers this season.
“We have David Vaughan who can play full-back but I don’t really regard him as a defender and I wouldn’t want to play him and Anthony Tonkin in the same back four. Then we have Billy Jones who is just out of school, so we are short on numbers.
“I’ve asked for someone and we will try and sort something out after training today. He would go into the side and would then have to earn his place at either right or left back.”
