Moses finally on the road to recovery

The 28-year old summer signing from Huddersfield was sidelined following the 1-0 defeat away at Burnley on August 31st with a hamstring strain after forming a great partnership with Steve Foster in the early stages of the season. He aggravated the injury in October on his first training session back after the problem.

However, manager Dario Gradi was delighted to confirm that he will be in contention for a practice game next Wednesday. "Adie trained with us on Wednesday and Friday and he could play I think. We're trying to get a game arranged next Wednesday for him to play in."

Since the loss of Moses, three academy graduates in the shape of Richard Walker, Chris McCready and Billy Jones have joined Foster in defence, and Gradi was quick to dispell any thoughts of a guaranteed immediate start for the former Barnsley man.

"Foster and McCready are my first choice at the moment and I've got a lot of faith in their ability. But with Adie and Richard in the reserves that is a good backup and then there is young Billy Jones waiting in the wings."
