19-year-old Moore winger picked up the injury during the clubs 2-0 defeat at Millwall and will need an x-ray to see if he has broken a metarsal bone.
If the clubs fears are founded then the Railwaymen could lose Moore for at least 6 weeks.

Crewe's coach Steve Holland told the official site "Byron has a damaged metatarsal. We will have to see how bad it is after he has undergone a scan. If it is not broken then it shouldn't be too bad because it will only be badly bruised.

"If he has broken it then we can expect to be without him for a number of weeks. We will have to see the extent of the damage after he has had the scan but we are keeping our fingers crossed that it is not as serious as we fear."
