Speaking to www.crewealex.net Holland said "Four or five games later and it now looks quite different. I still think that the dividing line between winning and losing is very thin. We made a couple of mistakes against Gillingham and it cost us. We looked to have solved that against Walsall and then we went back to making some mistakes on Saturday.
"I didn't think it was a bad performance at Hartlepool and we were very much in the game at 0-0 and entering the later stages. We were hoping we could nick a goal and go on to win it and then found ourselves 3-0 behind and out of it. Things changed very quickly.
He added: "Now we have to get that result out of our system and quickly. We have to cut out the mistakes at the back and start to look more threatening. We are due a win, full stop."
The club now has a tricky Christmas schedule and no doubt will be hoping to pick up point instead of getting drawn into a relegation battle.
