Danny Milosevic spent a spell on loan at the Alex in February 2003, he played 60 minutes against Oldham but unfortunately broke his wrist. The former Leeds player was then meant to be coming back on a season long loan at the end of this season but when he pulled out of it Leeds released him from his contract.
Since, he signed for Glasgow Celtic as second choice keeper but one day after signing Milosevic got time off for 'personal problems', but at the same time used the excuse of a back injury to Martin O'Neil. The Aussie returned home to Yorkshire and has since refused to go back to Scotland, with rumours saying he never settled up north.
The Celtic manager, Martin O'Neil, isn't happy with Milosevic and says he will be 'ripping up his contract': “I spoke to him very briefly the other day and, let me put it this way, he is unwilling to come back here at this minute.
“I never went into the ins and outs of it. If Milosevic is unwilling to come back then we will leave it up to UEFA. The contract wouldn't be all that difficult to rip up because we were running out of time to do it when he signed it.
“He signed a contract on the understanding that he would come back the following week and he would resolve that particular problem.
“He had a back problem at the airport, but he told John Robertson something else. It's alright to tear up contracts but it might prevent someone from earning a living somewhere else until the next window.
“That's something we might look to the SPL. The contract was for a nominal amount of money and we are not paying him.”
So could this be the perfect time for Dario to sign the keeper who can put the right amount of pressure on Clayton Ince?
