Miller nets brace in Spiretes friendly.

A second string Crewe XI romped to a 3-0 win over Chesterfield this afternoon and Shaun Miller threw his hat into the ring for a start this Saturday when he grabbed a brace. Steve Holland looked to see if anyone else impressed as Mark Carrington also got on the scoresheet and Owain Fon Williams did his chances good as he kept a clean sheet.
The only downside was an ankle injury to Eugen Bopp who was replaced at half time and now faces a race to get fit for the trip trip to Southend.
