Middlesbrough In The Semi's

They will now play Middlesbrough. 'Boro were last years finalists before losing to Manchester United, in which former Alex academy striker Eddie Johnson scored.

Middlesbrough beat Tranmere in the last round with a 119th 1-0 winner from Jason Kennedy.

The semi's is played over two legs, spread over both Gresty Road and the Riverside. The dates and ticket prices are not yet out but the first leg must be completed by March 20th and the 2nd leg by April 3rd.
