McCready First To Agree

McCready has assured the club he's ready to sign a new contract after mulling it over for the past week. The 22 year old has suffered with a long list of injuries in the past but the club have put faith in his obvious ability by giving him another chance to prove he's past his injuries and can push on to claim a starting place.

McCready will sign the contract before the end of the week. Dario, meanwhile, is hopeful that Ben Williams will return from his summer holiday with a positive answer. The young keeper was offered a contract following his release from Manchester United and was allowed to think about it over his holidays. Dario believes the 21 year old will sign purely for first team football.

Alex Morris is still thinking over his contract whilst it looks unlikely that the main man Dave Brammer will be here come August. The Birkenhead born midfielder looks set to leave Crewe after receiving interest from Coventry and Stoke - knowing they can meet his wage demands. It's a matter of when - not if - Brammer will turn his back on the club.
