Crewe have made a double swoop by securing two more defenders.
Former Coventry City player Ryan Lynch and former Port Vale player George Abbey have both signed one-year deals with the club.

Crewe fans will get to see 28-year-old Abbey in action against Derby County this Wednesday, as he comes in for the injured Danny Woodards who has a tight hamstring.
Abbey was released by Martin Foyle at the end of last season and has signed as suitible back up for Danny Woodards.

20-year-old Lynch has trained and played in the pre-season friendlies for the Railwaymen and has impressed the management team.
Lynch like Abbey will be looking to push into the plans of Steve Holland as Crewe host two home friendlies before their curtain raiser against Brighton & Hove Albion a week on Saturday.
