Lund signed for Stoke along with fellow team mate Ben Marshall last summer after they decided to follow former academy manager Steve Holland to the Brittania.
19-year-old Lund signed a two-year deal along with Marshall and were regarded as ones for the future.
The tribunal which was held in Leicester favoured Crewe with Stoke having to pay an initial £80k straight away with the overall deal potentially earning Crewe £430k along with a 20% sell on clause.
Lund is yet to make a first team start and has not been out on loan unlike team mate Ben Marshall who has been on loan at Northampton Town, Cheltenham Town and Carlisle United.
Crewe are still awaiting a tribunal for former winger Ben Marshall and will no doubt will be hoping for a similar deal.
