Luke Varney Signs For Alex

The 19 year old plays for Quorn in the Midlands League and with 25 goals he left the club as their top scorer and the divisions top scorer. He signed on a 2 and a half year contract for the Alex.

Assistant manager Neil Baker, who spotted him, said: "He impressed me straight away which doesn't normally happen when I go scouting,"

"He's got pace and is very quick, he's got a nice touch."
