Liverpool intend to play French kids

Gerard Houllier has given an indication that he will play French wonderkids Anthony Le Tellac and Florent Sinama-Pongolle in Saturday's friendly. The two highly rated kids from Le Havre were bought for £6m two years ago, but only joined up with the rest of the reds squad this summer.

"Unfortunately they couldn't play against Cologne, but they should be involved against Crewe," Houllier said today.

The team news for the game has been kept under-wraps by both sides, but the Sentinel today reported that £5m Aussie summer signing Harry Kewell will play a part sometime alongside Michael Owen.

Houllier also hinted that former German international Markus Babbel would play a part.
