Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson will be looking for a needed win over fellow relegation haunted Orient. The O's who sacked Martin Ling the other week after a string of poor results have played three more games than the Railwaymen and are only 5 points ahead.

The O's have appointed former Colchester United manager Geraint Williams this week and he will be looking to impress in his first match incharge as he hopes to steer the O's out of the relagation zone.

The Railwaymen will be looking to avenge a 2-0 defeat to the O's back in November and no doubt will be looking for a similar result from last season when a Nicky Maynard goal seperated the sides that day.

The last time Leyton Orient secured a win over the Alex at was back in December 1990 when the O's that day won 3-2.

Crewe Team News....

Dennis Lawrence has arrived back in the country after representing Trinidad in a World Cup Qualifier against El Salvador, Lawrence will partner onn loan Marlon Broomes in the centre of defence.

Michael O'Connor looks set for a recall to the squad after falling out of favour with Thordarson while Julien Baudet could be called in the team to play just infront of the defrence.

Crewe will look to keep the partnership of Clayton Donaldson and Tom Pope in attack.
