Leitch-Smith joins Curzon Ashton on loan.

20-year-old Leitch-Smith who has come through the academy ranks has joined the Unibond side in order to gain regular first team experience and hopefully earn another contract at Crewe as his present one expires in the summer.

Leitch-Smith earlier on in the season returned to Crewe in September from playing football in Iceland where he made 18 appearances and netting 5 goals for IBV, he has also had loan spells at FC Halifax (November 2008) and Newcastle Town (March 2009).

After his recall from Iceland in September due to an injury crisis at the club Leitch-Smith made his debut by coming on as a substitute in the 3-2 defeat to Bury but since then has only been on the bench a few times without being used.
