Cornwall's fastest man has been told he needs to be fit by tomorrow (Tuesday) to be in the team to face Cardiff on Saturday. Tonkin picked up a strain in his leg during the Bisham Abbey stay and the left back has struggled since and with kick-off day looming Dario is worried that he may be left without a left back.

After David Vaughan's form this pre-season he is very reluctant to move Vaughan into the spot - expecting him to take a left wing role. Dario has also moved to deny youngsters Rob Lloyd and Mark Roberts a chance of a debut, despite dazzling pre-season games, Dario told the Sentinel:

"Mark and Rob have done fine, but I wouldn't want to play them against Cardiff at this stage unless I really had to."

So, it leaves Dario needing to bring in a left back on loan if Tonkin does recover in the next 24 hours. No names have been mentioned.
