Leeds United away guide.

About the Ground

Crewe travel up the M6 and M62 this weekend to one time Premiership team Leeds United.
The ground is a 40,242 all seater stadium and is the 11th biggest stadium in England and the largest in League One. The away fans usually sit in the South stand in the corner of the ground next to the big east stand which at one time was one of the biggest cantilever stands in the 1990's.

Where to Drink

The nearest pub to the ground is the Old Peacock which is near to the South Stand which houses the away supporters. Although it is an away pub I have had no problem before getting in although it can get busy. Another pub that is recommended is the Dry Salters Pub which is ten minutes away from the ground and usually gets a good mix in.

Travel

By train

Eland Road is a 35 minute walk from the station so either a taxi or bus would be a decent option to get to the ground, the shuttle bus is around £2.50 and drops people off at the corner of the North and East stand.

By coach

The official one leaves 11am  cost £10 members + season ticket holders and £11 non-members.

By Car

Distance from Crewe to Leeds is 82 miles.
You need to get off at J27 of the M62 and follow M621 towards Leeds, you should then see Elland Road sign posted.

For the Away fan

The away fans are situated in the South East of the South Stand which holds around 1,800 supporters. The stand offers basic facilities and not much leg room along with the usual football ground grub on offer at a price.
