Wigan Athletic are unbeaten in their last six home games, but have drawn three of them. A total of 13 goals have been scored by the Latics in those games, with 7 conceded. Our away form is equally impressive, picking up four victories from the last six. Those games have seen the us pummel 15 goals, and let in 8. Wigan are just outside the promotion places, in 4th, having taken 32 points from 16 games. While we have a total of 28 points from our 16 games and sees us sitting in the playoff places in Nationwide League Division Two. Wigan haven't been beaten in the league since Losing to Colchester United back in August.Their last two results have been edgey, Luton were denied the 3 points against them by a 88th minute goal while QPR gave them another scare by drawing 1-1 at their place. Wigan you could say are the most under achiving team in the division, for the past few seasons they've been tipped to go up over and over again yet nothing appears to be that impressiver from the JJB. This time last season they found themselfs 20th and tallying just 3 wins in the season. However they brought in Paul Jewell and he straight away guided them away from any chance of a struggle and they finished in 10th spot. That wasn't it though, Jewell brought in one youngster who's been tipped to go a long way in the name of Nathan Ellington aka The Duke. The 20 year old signed from Bristol

Rovers with a good goal ration. The Duke though is still way behind The Hulse who has tallyed 15 goals while Nathan has only got a mesley 11 this season. They have a very good squad with former Blackburn keeper John Filan in between the posts but as always Clayton has kept 3 more clean sheets than Filan. Other players like Liddell(7 goals) and
McCulloch will be massive threats and will provide over time for the Doorman and Foz. There is a good side though, They have Manchester City in the Worthington Cup on Tuseday and Wigan minds may wonder towards that game - remember Coventry? We all know what happens if you don't keep your mind focusing on game by game.
The Crewe Alex team news is short but sweet. Dario will make no changes to the team that started on Tuseday night against Luton, there is speculation he will put Rix in for Sorvel though. So the team will be: Ince, Walker, Foster, Sodje, Wright, Sorvel, Brammer, Lunt, Jack, Jones, Hulse.

CreweAlex.com's prediction ...It's going to be a tough test, we've both slipped up against teams like Luton and both are looking to improve a recent drop in form. I'm going for 1-0 to Crewe - first goal wins it at least.
