He may of left nearly two years ago but the Railwaymen have resigned Kenny Lunt albeit on a months loan with a view of extending it.
This will be Lunts second spell at the club where he progressed through the ranks to make over 400 apperances for the Alex and even turned down a ten-year contract to stay at Crewe before he signed for the Owls.
27 year-old Lunt joined the Owls on a free transfer back in the summer of 2006 and during his time at Hillsborough only made 33 starts without scoring his last appearnace was in the FA Cup against Derby County over a month ago.
With the club losing Neil Cox and Ben Rix who are about to have operations on injurys that will see COx out for at least six weeks and Rix out for the season, the move for Lunt may prove a master stroke for First Team Coach Steve Holland.
The Runcorn born midfielder will hope to shine in the centre of the park as the Railwaymen look to pull away from the relegation zone.
Lunt will make his debut this Saturday as Crewe travel to Leeds United and will make his home debut next Tuesday in the rearranged match against Carlisle United.
