Prior to May 2007 Ebbsfleet United where know as Gravesend and Northfleet with then the club being founded back in 1946.
The club has come through the leagues and where founder members of the Conference back in 1979 but were soon relegated back to the Southern League Premier. They had to wait until 2002 before they managed to get back in the Conference where they have remained since.
