Jones hands in transfer request.

It seems that Billy Jones has decided what to do with his football career, the young defender has decided to hand in a transfer request.
The player who is out of contract next summer would be allowed to move on for a Tribunal fee.
Jones was offered a new contract and to become one of highest paid players at Crewe but he refused the deal even though the management at Crewe said he could leave if the right offer came along.

Now it seems with his transfer request, Jones does not want to hang around and will now look to move during the January transfer window. Couple this with Jon Otsemobor on the transfer list and the club awaiting offers for Luke Rodgers and David Vaughan going on record about not being happy, it seems that boss Dario Gradi will have his work cut out in January.
