Northern Ireland ended up losing 1-4 at home to Norway. 3-0 down at half time with Pederson(2) and Iversen scoring Northern Ireland had broken the record for the longest streak without scoring a goal, over 13 and a half matches.
The record wasn't stretched out much longer as Preston's David Healy headed home a consolation goal on the 57th minute. Norway made sure it was much of a consolation though as they forced Keith Gillespie to put the ball into his own net 60 seconds player.
It finished 4-1 and the top Northern Irish goalscorer in Britain was left on the bench till the 77th minute - giving him just 13 minutes to impress Lawrie Sanchez.
Oh well, all the more goals for us.
