Jackett told the official Millwall website: "It would have been nice to put the tie away today but it wasn't to be. I actually think we played better than we have in the last few games - we had good possession and got some good balls in their box.
But I was disappointed with their goals because we didn't defend them well enough. For their second I wasn't happy with the way we set up to defend the free-kick. It looked like we left too much of a gap for Shelley to hit, and he smashed it in.
We're still in the fourth round draw though and that's good because the FA Cup is a competition we're very enthusiastic about. Another game creates interest and revenue and can help your season overall."
