Rodney Jack will not be offered a new contract when his present one expires next month. Jack rejoined the Railwaymen after impressing the backroom staff was offered a year deal.
The former Torquay United, Rushden and Oldham striker will now have to look for a new club for next season, the choice was made with the emergence of younger strikers at the club.
Jack's last appearance was in Crewe's 3-0 defeat to Port Vale last month, that day Jack only lasted 15mins before a hamstring tear ended his season.
