Jack and Sorvs Unsure, Walton off

The Sentinel says Rodney Jack is now being tagged by Stoke City along with Rushden & Diamonds. Jack is out of contract, along with Sorvel and Walton, and has been offered a 1 year deal to stay at the Alex but while Jack wants to stay it is reported he wants a better contract. Rumours have been doing their rounds about a immediate move to Division Three Champions Rushden for a few months but nothing yet has been announced.

The Sentinel also say that Dave Walton has snubbed the contract from Dario and is now set to sign for Bristol City. Dave Walton was missing from Saturdays match through a family bereavement.

Neil Sorvel is yet to sign and is unsure if he wants another season of the Railtrack Stand abusing him.

Personally I don't care if any of them sign or not. They didn't work in Division One last time round so we need new players and less of the old 'uns. we know what we need in Division One this time and with the 300 players without clubs out there we should build and off load any players who are even thinking about their future.
