It's about time David Wright moved on.

Wright was linked to Charlton and Fulham last year and was trialled at Leeds United - then again, who isn't? - but this summer Dario says that it's about time Wrighty moved onwards after 'achieving all he can at Crewe'.

It's actually been pretty common knowledge that Wright will move on in 2004 but after no move in the January sales it raised doubts. This summer though Dario has invited bids, saying he'll sell for the right price -

"I expect to lose David Wright, he'll want to move on. It's probably time he should move on as he's gone as far as he can go here so if we get a decent offer for Wright we'll let him go.

"We don't want to let anyone else go, we'll have to see what the others want to do like Brams, we'll worry about that when we get to it"

The more important thing on fans minds, will Super Ben Williams return?

"He might do. We're off next week but after that we'll have a talk about it."

It also seems that Craig Hignett will be staying for next season, Dario was asked about the coming summer:

"We've already started. We were all out yesterday looking at players and the phones have started ringing. I ideally want two new strikers.

"We've got a week off, then the players start their summer work. Players like Rix, Hignett, Higdon, Vaughan & Bell have all got to get stronger if they're going to survive. Players like Foz and Lunt can both improve."
