On loan striker Lee Barnard, Julien Baudet and Steven Schumacher are all out of this Saturday's away trip to Cheltenham Town.

Barnard will seem to be out the longest as the on loan Spurs striker has picked up ankle ligament damage and looks set to be ruled out for up to six weeks. This will be a blow for the team and the player as the player has been blighted with niggling injuries during his loan at Crewe.

Vice captain Julien Baudet is ruled out for two weeks after the player came off with a thigh injury during the 2-0 win over Luton Town, while Steven Schumacher managed the full 90 minutes on Saturday has picked up a recurrence of a hamstring injury and is also ruled out.

Add to the woes that MOTM from Saturday Ryan Lowe also picked up a knock on his calf although he is expected to be fit to lead the line on Saturday.

Steve Holland told www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk "Losing Barney is a real blow," admitted Holland. "Julien and Schumacher are also out, while Ryan will have to train by the end of the week. George Abbey has a slight hamstring and that could rule him out at Cheltenham too, although he has a glimmer of hope.

"But it looks like we are going to be four or five down, so the loan market is definitely something we are looking at."

On a positive note Danny Woodards has overcome a bout of illness and could replace George Abbey who limped off with a hamstring injury.
