A surprising scoreline for the Scottish as Trinidad were trounched 4-1 at Hibs' Easter Road stadium. Clayton Ince wore the number one shirt for Trinidad but after a super save from a Steve Crawford shot it was only the 6th minute when Manchester United's Darren Fletcher put the Scots 1-0 up. Goals from Gary Holt, Gary Caldwell and Nigel Quashie in the first half followed and at half time Scotland led 4-0.

The second half was an anti-climax with Stern John grabbing the onnly goal of the half for Trinidad.

For David Vaughan and Wales it was a better story, even though Vaughan failed to get off the bench against Norway and against Canada. Vaughany saw Wales win 1-0 over the Canadians. Whilst Steve Jones is expected to play for Northern Ireland in Barbados tomorrow.
