Clayton Ince has rejected a new two-year contract extension from Crewe in favour of joining Coventry City. Ince has signed for Coventry on a two-year deal and will be united with compatriot Stern John. It is unsurprising that Coventry have signed the Trinidad international after his two league performances against the Sky Blues this season.
Ince, who didn't even turn up to give his answer in person, praised the Alex fans and thanked them for their support, "I appreciate them a lot for what they did - they were the only ones on my side when I was down and out of the side."
Agent Mike Berry, who has not exactly endeered himself to Crewe fans, had a far less subtle dig at Dario, "Clayton, on many occasions, has been disrespected andd demotivated - and I believe the manager should take a good look at his own man management skills. And if he did, he would get a lot more respect from his players." The criticism was a said with poor taste by Berry who has made many snide remarks about Dario in recent times.
Everyone at Crewe Mad would like to thank Clayton for his service over the years
