Clayton Ince recently revealed to the Trinidad Express how he lost his temper with the Trinidad Management. Ince recently walked out of his national team just three days before a World Cup Qualifier in Mexico on June 8th after being dropped by Soca Warriors manager Leo Beenhakker. Ince revealed, "I felt I was not being treated with respect and with my back hurting and being left out, I decided to pull out." Despite walking out, Ince stated, "When I find a team and settle in, I would make myself available for national selection." However, the three-time Carribean Player of the Year refuted suggestions that he was simply aggrieved at being dropped claiming, "I have been benched plenty of times before at Crewe" but "I am not one to walk away from a challenge."
Crewe will be hoping that the back spasms Ince is complaining of will not jeopordise his long-term fitness. However, it is still unknown where Ince will be playing his football next season as with this Thursday's contract deadline looming, Coventry City are continuing their knack of showing a late interest.
