Daniel O'Donnell and Chris McCready are looking to impress the management team and both could be called up after they Railwaymen let in three goals against Hartlepool.
Crewe's Technical Director Steve Holland told www.crewealex.net "Danny O'Donnell and Chris McCready are back in contention for Saturday and that is a welcome boost because we had to reshuffle a bit at the weekend with Macca out with a heavy cold.
"That meant we had to play Danny Woodards in the centre and have Gary filling in at right-back. They both did fine but we would prefer them to be in their natural positions. Having those two centre halves back will be a big boost for us."
With McCready and O'Donnell back in training the club also have Ryan Lowe and on loan striker Lee Barnard also available both have have overcome a thigh and ankle injury respectively.
