The emphatic win saw the Railwaymen climb out of the relegation zone for the first time since September and enhanced the clubs chances to avoid the dreaded drop.

Thordarson told the official website "I feel good tonight because I enjoyed the game and the way my team played. We knew it was going to be a tough game coming here and it was.

"I was disappointed not to have killed the game off in the first half because Daniel had two opportunities to do so. We had a chat at half-time and the second half was not in question. I was just waiting for the second goal to arrive and it was a fantastic goal from Schuy, There was some fantastic goals again, well executed and my players have once again done what I expect of them.

"They deserve great credit for the all the work they are putting in out on the training ground and on the pitch. I can only guide them and ask them to do things, but they have to do it out on the pitch. I can only help them to help themselves.

"Perhaps lady luck was with us a bit in the game with the injuries they had but I thought it was a definite penalty though. The linesman couldn't have had an easier decision to make with that one and Billy Jones put it away well.

"We were talking about who was going to take a penalty if we got one and after the warm-up I told Billy that if we got one that he was going to take it. He has a great shot on him and his free-kick was well executed again.

Thordarson will now try and keep the player's feet on the ground as the Railwaymen have two home games against Carlisle United and Hereford United.
