We should have a full strength attack going into February
Dario said he fully expects Rob to return to action after a end to 2002 with niggling injuries. Rob aggrevated a thigh strain in training on the Tuseday before the Mansfield league match. Dario reckons he will be fit to replace either John Miles or Steve Jones saying "He should be fit for the weekend. Ofcourse though, we'll be without him for the FA Cup match on Tuseday". Dario followed onto that saying he's sent a tape of the Oldham game and a letter to the FA after Hulse picked up his 5th booking of the season after apparently kicking the goalkeeper in the face while down, however this clearly WASN'T the case Mr Ellarey.

This throws up a good fight to partner Hulse up front. With Dean Ashton and Rodney Jack both out it leaves the fight to partner Hulse between John Miles and Steve Jones. Miles will probably start because of his natural striking ability and Jones dissapointing display at Bournemouth.

Rodney Jack and Dean Ashton are likley to be back within 2 or 3 weeks. Jack was feard to be out for the season, then a couple of months but it now seems it will be months. Ashton should be back for Huddersfield on the 21st and Jack might figure in the Oldham/Stoke on the 25th at a push. Most likley he will be saved for the Northampton home match on the 1st of Feb to make sure his injuries don't kill him altogether.

Moving down the field Dario is looking at replacing Sorvel. After a few dreadful performances in the middle the former Macc Town man is likley to be dropped in place of youngster Lee Bell, who scored his first league goal against Saturdays opponents earlier this season, and David Vaughan could be rested in place of Rix on the left.
