Gone but not forgotten
Rob Hulse today spoke about his £1m transfer to promotion favourites West Bromwich Albion.

The 23 year old goal machine exclaimed: "I'm very excited and really pleased to be joining such a massive club with so much potential. I just cannot wait to get into my football and get started."

Hulse, Crewe Alexandra's last player to reach 50 goals at Gresty Road, was upset to be leaving his boyhood heroes and home town: "It's sad to be leaving Crewe because it is where I was born and the team I supported as a boy. I will be leaving behind a lot of friends....everyone at the club has been brilliant to me.

"The coaching staff and Dario have been great and I have enjoyed the special relationship I have had with the fans during my time here.

"I just hope I can come back to Gresty Road and get the kind of reception that Danny Murphy and Seth Johnson got after they had left the club."

Don't worry Rob, you will never be forgotten.
