Hulse on target for Albion

Rob Hulse continues to do what he does best by opening his WBA account on his new club's first pre-season game in Denmark against B1909. Hulse, number 15, pounced on an under hit back pass from Jens Gamborg after fifteen minutes and chipped the goalkeeper from fifteen yards.

Hulse later had the chance to make it two but blazed over from 18 yards after the Danish sides defence messed up again before being substituted for Danny Dichio at half-time.

Gary Megson said of Hulse: "He acquited himself well and has increased competition on the squad. Rob’s got a good goalscoring record. He took his goal well and should have had another.

The former Stoke City manager added: "He made some great runs, held the ball up well and was a big threat."

Hulsey is set to play in Albion's next game against Kolding tomorrow night at 7pm.

Well done Hulsey.
