Hulse, a born and bred Alex fan, scored 27 goals for Crewe in Division Two in 2002-2003 and it earnt him a £1million transfer to West Bromwich Albion. Twelve goals in his first 20 games for West Brom seemed it was all rosie but Hulsey soon fell out of favour and out with club manager Gary Megson.
The 24 year old has now been told that the club will listen to offers over the summer and could be set to leave the Albion. Hulse has already been subject to speculation; it is thought Hulse was approached by Stoke City for a loan move to which Hulse 'politely' turned down.
Crewe have already got the full £1million transfer fee from West Brom after they were promoted and could be set for another wind-fall should he be sold for a good amount of money - with Crewe getting a cut of the transfer fee.
Who said we should never have sold him?
