Crewe are on the road this Saturday 18 March 2006 and next stop it is the KC Stadium in Hull. This will be Crewe's first visit to this stadium since it was opened back in December 2002. The ground cost £44m and is used by Hull City FC and Hull Rugby Club. The ground has an impressive design to it and has a capacity of 25,500 in which 4,000 away supporters can be housed although it is usually halved to 2,000.
Where to Drink
Although there are a few pubs near to the ground these are all designated for home supporters. Saying that most of the local fans head for the old stomping area of Boothferry Park. Pubs recommended for away supporters are The Editorial, Tap and Spile and The Yorkshireman.
Travel
By train the ground is around a 15 minute walk although a word of advise is that visiting supporters should take the southside of the station and head up Anlaby Road. Train times for this Saturday are Depts 07:21 arrives 10:34, Depts 08:07 arrives 11:34, Depts 09:07 arrives 12:34 and Depts 10:07 arrives 13:34. Return journey 18:02 which gets into Crewe for 21:43.

By Car distance from Crewe to Hull is 137 miles journey consists mostley of Motorway M6 and M62 then you go onto the A63 then follow signs for the Stadium. As for parking the stadium has a massive car park and costs £3.
For the Away fan
Crewe supporters will be situated in the North Stand End of the ground as with any new ground the facilities are top draw from the seats to the toilets. The food bar has the usual food of Burger's and Pie's and especially the now famous Chicken Balti and their is beer avaliable for the thirsty away supporter. Also just like the Alex a no smoking policy is enforced (seats only) and standing will not be tolerated and just like Crewe stewards some unpleasant confrontations have taken place between away fans and stewards, so you have been warned.
