Crewe go into the game looking for there first win since mid November, since then the Railwaymen have lost five games with one draw scoring two goals and conceding thirteen in the process.
Crewe's last away win was back in November with a 1-0 over neighbours Port Vale
The Railwaymen will look to bounce back from the mauling from Doncaster Rovers which has seen them go over five hours without a league goal and only six points above relegation zone.
Andy Ritchie's Huddersfield Town will be in confident mood after notching back to back wins against Bristol Rovers and Gillingham. The Terriers have only lost three times at home this season with Carlisle, Cheltenham and Leyton Orient coming away with three points.

The Ground

The Galpharm Stadium has a capacity of 24,500 and was opened in 1994 after the Terriers moved from their old ground at Leeds Road which was not far from the new site. The stadium is also used by the Huddersfield Giants Rugby Club while it has also been used for Rugby semi-finals and also the odd pop concert.

Where to drink

The ground is about 20 minutes from the town centre and a few pubs are recommended the Peacock, Ricky's Bar and Bradley Mills WMC are all located on Leeds Road and within a five minute walk. Failing that beer is served in the ground as soon as you walk into the away end.

Travel

Due to the fixture being on Boxing Day no trains are running so the only was to get to the ground will be either by coach or car.

The official coach leave Gresty Road at 11:45 priced at £9 (ST holders and Members) / £10 (non-ST holders and non-members)

Car

It is 70 miles to Huddersfield and with a clear run can be done in about an hour.
The stadium is just off the A62 Leeds Road. It can be easiest reached from Junction 25 of the M62, simply follow the signs for Huddersfield (A62) and you will come to the stadium on your left.

For the Away Fan

The away fans are situated in the South Stand which has a capacity of 4,000 and the facilities are excellent with beer served the usual football ground food and a betting kiosk.
