Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has stated his desire to make two more summer signings as he attempts to bolster his squad for a promotion push next season. The Yorkshire club have already signed Ian Bennett, Eddie Lewis, Dan Harding and ex-Alex marksman Rob Hulse although it appears Blackwell isn't yet happy with his squad.
Having lost right-winger Aaron Lennon to Spurs, Blackwell is in the hunt for two new players with a right-midfielder a priority. Despite the Whites having been linked with Kenny Lunt, it appears Steve Stone is the prime target with Blackwell admitting, "Steve is one player I have shown an interest in, but other clubs are interested as well."
However, if Leeds do not manage to sign Steve Stone they may well turn to Lunt, who has repeatedly publicised his desire to leave Crewe and even announced his admiration for Leeds.
Meanwhile Leeds have also been linked with ex-Leeds loanee John Oster and Hungarian international Zsolt Baranyos who is believed to be on trial with the Whites.
