Head to Head and Team News - Yeovil Town (H)

Last updated : 29 December 2006 By ChalkDust
Yeovil make their first visit to Gresty Road and are looking to consolidate a place in the play-offs.
Crewe on the other hand are looking to end the year with a win and hopefully stop the rot that has seen them slip down to 16th in the table.

Yeovil's last away game was on Boxing Day where they secured a 3-1 over Brighton, which saw them climb to 7th and on the edge of the play-offs.

Yeovil Town boss Russell Slade looks set to field the same side that won at Brighton, which will mean the bench for former player Anthony Tonkin. Paul Terry and Mark Lynch are out with long-term injuries, while Marcus Stewart is unavailable for selection until he officially signs for the Glovers in January.

Crewe will be without Michael Higdon who is still struggling with a ankle injury while Luke Rodgers is out with illness.
