Former Crewe player Dave Brammer will play against his old team after missing out earlier in the season due to injury. Danny Woodards looks set for a recall after recovering from illness and will replace Billy Jones who is ruled out with a knee injury.

Club captain Neil Cox has not travelled with the squad as he is struck down with illness that has been sweeping the club over recent weeks.
Gary Roberts may have to settle for a place on the bench after he served a one match ban for his dismissial against Doncaster Rovers.

Nicky Maynard who was rested could start inplace of Simon Church as Crewe will stick with a 4-4-2 formation.
