Crewe are on the road again after there impressive 1-1 draw away Swindon last Saturday and are still looking for the first away win of the season.
Chester City on the other hand have started well under the leadership of Bobby Williamson and sit second in League Two undefeated, they also had a good result at the weekend with a 1-1 draw at Rotherham United.

It is the first time in twelve years that the Cheshire rivals have locked horns and tonighs game should be a cracker with local pride at stake and advancement into the next round of this years JPT.

Crewe Team News: -

Crewe look set for a few changes with Stuart Tomlinson filling in for the rested Bem Williams.
Players already ruled out are Nicky Maynard (broken fibula), Chris McCready (ankle) and Byron Moore (knee) while Gary Roberts is struggling with a tight hamstring, if he fails then Eugen Bopp looks set for a recall.
Club captain Neil Cox will be rested and his place will be taken by Ben Rix while no doubt Ryan Lowe will be looking to find some form aganist one of his old clubs.

Chester City Team News: -

Chester City manager has a hard task as he has no injury worries ahead of tonights game and will stick with the same side that drew at Millmoor in Saturday. The game will see former player Tony Grant playing against the Railwaymen for the first time since hi release from Crewe back in 2006. Chester will be looking for goals from former Blackpool striker Jon Murphy and former Lincoln City striker Simon Yeo as they hope to progress and get one over last seasons beaten semi-finalists.
