Head to Head and Team News - Bristol City (H)

After two trips on the road in the last week, Crewe entertain high flying Bristol City who sit second behind league leaders Scunthorpe United.

The Robins will be looking to bounce back after a surprise 3-2 home defeat to Bradford City last Tuesday, so Bristol boss Gary Johnson may have to shuffle the pack for the journey to the Alexandra Stadium.
Johnson has a few doubts with Scott Murray (foot), ex Vale player Steve Brooker (dead leg) and Wayne Andrews (knee) missing from recent fixtures. Extra injury's worries add to Johnson's team selection headache, Cole Skuse and David Noble are also doubtful with a calf strain and illness.

Crewe on the other hand may stick with the same side that drew 2-2 with Millwall on Tuesday. Ben Rix looks set for a place on the bench after recovering from a wrist injury.
David Vaughan and Nicky Maynard have only just returned to training and will not be considered but should be fit for the visit of Rotherham United next Saturday.
Jon Otsemobor (hamstring) and leading marksman Luke Varney (broken toe) are still out injured are some way off from being fit and Michael O'Connor has been ruled out for the season suffering from growing pains.
Danny Woodards has declared himself fit and this after picking up a serious head injury on Tuesday night.
