Crewe boss Steve Holland will be hoping that lighting strikes twice as the Crewe and Brighton lock horns in a repeat performace of last seasons opening game.
On that day last season the Railwaymen came away with all three points with a 2-1 after trailing 1-0 to a Dean Cox goal, two goals from Gary Roberts saw off the Seagulls challange and ensured that they have yet to win at Gresty Road.

The Railwaymen have a slight doubt over Michael O'Connor who has missed training this week while boss Steve Holland looks set to give league debuts to Calvin Zola, James Bailey, Steve Collis and Joel Grant while Anthony Elding will have to make do with a place on the bench.
Brighton & Hove Albion Team News.....
Albion come into the game on the back of a good pre-season and have new signings Colin Hawkins, Adam Virgo, Matt Richards, Kevin McLeod and David Livermore included in the squad that travels to Crewe.
