After a rash challenge from Hessenthaler on Lunt, Lunt took a little flick at Hessenthaler. The reaction saw a little scrap in which fans could clearly see Hessenthaler throwing punches - fortunately none landed.
"The ref saw it as a foul from me, but I didn't think it was. He gave it, and there was a little bit of a scuffle and he kicked out at me which is why I reacted the way I did.
"I got booked, he got sent off having already been booked, and it's unfortunate but these things happen. The only reason that I reacted the way that I did was that he kicked out at me."
