The 31 year-old looks set to be an ideal replacement for Kenny Lunt who departed to pastures new. Grant signed on a 6 month contract in January and impressed the Alex backroom staff by making 10 starts. Neil Baker said "It's good news Tony has agreed to stay here for an extra year, and he is a more than adequate replacement for Kenny".
"He brings a lot of experience to the club having played in the Premiership, and he's a good passer of the ball".
