Ince was the first choice keeper for two years up until an injury in March allowed Ben Williams to take the number one shirt off him. After taking over from George Bankole Ince went onto be a record breaker in his first full season, claiming 22 clean sheets as Crewe were promoted to the 1st Division.
The 32 year old spoke to the management over the summer and stated that he wants to stay at the club and fight for his place, despite it looking like Ben Williams will remain the No.1 keeper for the rest of the season.
Colin Hendry, manager of Blackpool, is thought to have made a bid that was way off the price tag of £125,000. It seems unlikely that Blackpool, bottom of League One, will have the money for Ince.
