Gradi may turn to loan option.

It seems that Crewe boss Dario Gradi may turn to the loan market ahead of the home game against Bristol City as injuries hit the club hard.
The Railwaymen have already lost Michael O'Connor for the rest of the season and David Vaughan is still struggling with a groin injury that has kept him out for the last few weeks.

Add to the fact that Crewe off loaded two midfielders in January in the shape of Lee Bell and Tony Grant who joined Burton Albion and Accrington Stanley respectively then numbers are low in the midfield department.

Gradi told The Sentinel "We are looking everywhere from goalkeepers onwards for a loan.

"We need numbers, as I don't think we're going to get anyone back for the weekend. We really need someone in midfield as we need to get Billy Jones back into the defence. If I can get a midfielder in and possibly a flank player then it would be a big help."
