Goodbye Wayne

Dario told Wayne Collins he is allowed to leave Crewe on a free after falling further behind in the pecking order. Collins signed for Crewe for the 2nd time in summer of 2001 but after a dreadful season last season it was a knock on effect for this season. He's only seen action once this season with just 30 minutes against Blackpool in the LDV... Dario told the Sentinel...
"We have told Wayne he won't get into the side. He understands that and he is free to go and find another club.
"He's been super about it and he is still a decent player, but I've got to give Ben Rix and Lee Bell their chance in midfield, otherwise they would be entitled to question why they are here.
"And I can't really play Wayne at the back, so I think it's best if he goes and plays elsewhere. He has been fine about that."
Goodbye Wayne. Unfortunatley you won't be missed this time.
