Shaun Smith and Steve Macauley are to have two testimonials after being with Crewe from 92 - 02. The games will be against Liverpool, on the 19th July, and Everton, on the 22nd July. However, whilst Crewe have sold over 8,500 tickets for the Liverpool game they have only sold 5,000 for the Everton game.

Peter Hallet, head of the testimonial committee, is going to try and boost the numbers by asking David Moyes to play the most famous teenager in england - Wayne Rooney. The prospect of seeing 'Roonaldo' could sell out the game within 48 hours.
